Our history
We want to spread our crafts from Japan to the world.
We live in a society where we produce a lot of waste.
We think it's important to adopt a different attitude.
The material
We also understand that natural fabrics offer comfort and warmth that cannot be reproduced by synthetic fabrics.
We choose natural materials from traditional cultures.
These natural materials are then processed in our workshop, so we control our quality and production.
We want to return to the values of product quality, respect for the environment and a vision of sustainability. We believe that our consumers will appreciate this concept.
The raw materials we select
Natural fibers that are comfortable and functional
The way in which the materials are grown has a major influence on their quality.
We favor natural and traditional crops that offer superior quality materials.
Our yarns are made from organic cotton, silk, wool and linen.
We are grateful to the earth and all it has to offer, and want to create products that will be appreciated and used on a long-term period.
Organic cotton
We use cotton grown without pesticides or synthetic additives; our cotton is grown in a traditional way.
This method of cultivation is not harmful to the environment.
not only visually beautiful, but also kind to the skin and long-lasting.
When we compared it to other cottons, we found that it was softer, less aggressive on the skin and also more functional for the crafting of our socks.
Ecological silk
Silk contains 20 amino acids and pure protein fibers
that are also present in our skin.
It is a good material for our skin and health.
We use "noil silk", the short silk fibers that are discarded
to make the yarns. As well as avoiding
waste, these are the softest, most moisturizing fibers
they offer numerous benefits for the skin.
Natural silk
Compared to other materials such as cotton or linen, natural silk has the strongest moisture-absorbing properties.
It does not stick to the skin and it is ideal for warmer seasons.
Wool
Wool provides effective protection from the cold.
The fibers are very tightly woven, preventing air from penetrating.
Our silk socks keep feet warm.
We recommend them for winter, although some thin silk socks are also pleasant in summer.
Made from baby alpaca fleece
Baby Alpaca is a wool carefully collected from an Alpaca before it is 3 months old. This extremely soft wool, which falls naturally, is collected with a comb.
This first wool only grows once after birth.
This cashmere-like material is very kind to the skin.
How we make 5-toed socks
This type of sock matches the shape of the foot as closely as possible.
We take particular care in their design so that each toe can move naturally,
They are suitable for all types of feet, and eliminate areas of friction between the toes.
Everyday use will be benefit to your feet.
We've also thought about an elegant, streamlined design
